Students will study the basic properties of electric current. They will learn what particles are moving in conductors, and how they move. Sources of current will be examined, and the relationship between voltage, current and resistance will be explored. The relationship between heat and resistance will be studied and superconductivity will be discussed. Students will calculate electric power and the cost of electric energy.
